We try to imagine ourselves in the space we are creating, which allows us to bring your vision to life. We will walk beside you through the process, ask a lot of questions and make sure you’re heard. Here's how we grind...

Step 1

Kickin’ It

We are out of the box thinkers and love to build relationships with those we work with. So we want to get to know you! We’d love to see your land or the property you are considering purchasing, to build on. While we are there, we can chat about general ideas, would love to hear your dreams for your project and answer any questions you have about our building process. We look at building a house, sometimes like a marriage. You are going to love us, but we are about to get really close and may have some good chats, both ways about our expectations. So this initial meeting is one of our favs!

Step 2

Sketching the Blueprint

At this point we’ll all start discussing a little more details. Like, do you have a house plan? Do you want to make changes to a plan you like? Do you need help drafting one? Then it’s time for some fun stuff – picking the theme for your home and other baseline designs so we can get a good idea of what you’re looking for! If you’re not sure, well – we love to design and create a functional layout, so we can help!

Step 3

Digging in

After we get a good sense of what you’re after, we’ll start doing some digging on our end (sometimes literally) to see what’s actually possible on your lot and with your budget. When we’re done, we’ll have a more accurate quote for your custom home or remodeling project.

Step 4

Nailing it Down

Are you ready to build your dream a reality? During this step you’ll start to see your dream home coming together on paper. We’ll also want to know which part of your home you want to focus on, for design. We will take that vision and start getting some estimated numbers, so we can finalize your cost of construction. We’ll also sign a formal construction contract and help you get any necessary documents needed for financing.

Step 5

Rolling up our sleeves

After proof of financing comes through, it’s time for our team to start bringing your vision to life! It’ll be like we’re married during this process because we prefer over-communication rather than a lack thereof. We will be with you every step of the way and guide you to your “moment” when you are enjoying that first cup of coffee in your new space.
